STEFORA Final Project Management Board (PMB) Meeting: Final Phase Underway

The eighth and final Project Management Board (PMB) meeting for STEFORA Project was held on November 22, 2024 as the project nears completion. Over the course of two years of project implementation, the consortium has worked closely together, achieving key milestones and delivering important results such as development of Training Modules; Institutional strategies, Publications; and delivering of a series of training, workshops, and webinar events.

During this last meeting, the team reviewed the progress and finalized an action plan to complete the remaining activities. The discussions highlighted the commitment of all partners to ensure the project concludes successfully, meeting its objectives of increasing STEM engagement in Kosovo and Albania.

As the project enters its final phase, we express our gratitude to all partners for their dedication and contributions throughout this journey. This final meeting marks the conclusion of the STEFORA project and the beginning of transforming these results into real-world impact.

STEFORA Project Management Board Meeting

A successful online Project Management Board (PMB) meeting was held on September 4, with all partners in attendance. The meeting focused on reviewing the project’s progress and outlining the action plan for completing the upcoming deliverables.

Key discussions focused on preparations for the final conference, ensuring quality assurance across all project activities, and strategizing dissemination efforts. The partners collaboratively agreed on working on a detailed action plan to ensure all deadlines are met efficiently.

Additionally, plans for the final PMB meeting before the project’s closure were confirmed, setting the stage for a successful conclusion.

STEFORA Project Management Board Meeting

On March 27, 2024, the Project Management Board (PMB) held its second meeting during 2024, where all of the representatives of the STEFORA partner institutions met virtually. The project coordinator provided an overview of the completed project activities from January 2024 to March 2024. The meeting aimed to chart the ongoing and upcoming activities from April 2024 to October 2024. The partners engaged in a thorough discussion regarding the organization of the Workshops for Adoption of Best Practices as part of Work Package 3 and the Staff exchange activities as part of the Work Package 4.

The First Project Management Board Meeting for 2024: Reflecting on the past year and charting the path ahead for this year

The Project Management Meeting of the STEFORA Project was successfully conducted in a hybrid mode on January 25, 2024, during the team visit at Maynooth University, Ireland.   

The meeting commenced with a comprehensive overview of the completed activities during the first year of our project. It was gratifying to witness the collaborative efforts of the project partners.   

The partners engaged in a thorough discussion regarding the operational plan for the completion of the next tasks and deliverables. Through open dialogue and valuable input from all partners, key action points and next steps were set for the second year of the project.  

One of the high points of the meeting was the significance of partners actively engaging to ensure the successful and timely completion of the mid-project reporting.  This call to action highlights the importance of a united effort to maintain the momentum and achieve our goals.  

Project Management Board Holds Successful Meeting to Plan Implementation of the Upcoming Activities

In a significant step towards realizing its strategic objectives, the Project Management Board (PMB) gathered on August 25 for a meeting aimed at charting the course of the upcoming activities during September 2023-February 2024. The meeting was attended by the representatives of all the STEFORA partner institutions.  One of the main points of the meeting was the status update on the Project whereby the Project Coordinator, Dr Venera Demukaj presented completed project activities in line with the established timeline.  The representatives from the partner institutions engaged in a constructive discussion about the upcoming project activities with a special focus on the content, schedule, and the travels related to the Advanced Trainings and Expert Webinars. The PMB meeting was held online. With technology as an enabler, the future promises more efficient and eco-friendly modes of professional discourse for Project Management Board members.

Another Project Management Board Meeting Took Place During the Visit at LNU

The meeting was held on June 9, 2023. The Project Management team (four in person and two online) discussed the completed milestones and deliverables so far; ongoing activities and key action to be taken in the light of upcoming milestones and deliverables.

Project Management Board Meeting

The Project Management Board Meeting was organized on March 31, 2023. The main objective of this meeting was to discuss the organization of three workshops under WP2. All partners participated, and several management issues were clarified.

Kick-off Meeting

The Kick-Off Meeting of the project “STEFORA – STEM for ALL” was organized online on January 30, 2023. The main objective of STEFORA is to increase the accessibility, participation and retention of women in technical STEM fields of study. This project is coordinated by RIT Kosovo. The Kickoff Meeting was led by the Project coordinator, Prof. Venera Demukaj. The meeting started with a round of presentations from each of the partners and their work- package related activities. Then a detailed presentation of the 1st year work plan was provided by RIT Kosovo. The first deliverables such as Financial & Risk Management Plan, Quality Assurance Plan and Dissemination & Exploitation Plan were introduced during the meeting. Lastly, the memberships of the Project Management Board, Steering Committee and Editorial Board were finalized.
