Universal Design Training for STEM Faculty and Administrators

A three-day training program on Universal Design for STEM Faculty and Administrators was held on November 6-8, 2023, in POLIS University and was led by Linnaeus University. The first day covered the introduction of Universal Design, Gender, and Learning within STEM, while the second day explored the context of Kosovo and Albania and focused on employing a Design Thinking Approach to address Universal Design Aspects within STEM. In the third day, the participants collaboratively worked on redesigning their course assignments and materials and presented their innovative solutions. Working groups from beneficiary institutions presented their reports, showcasing a commitment to breaking barriers and creating a more diverse and accessible future in STEM education.
