STEFORA’s First Workshop in the Series of Workshops for Adoption of STEM Best Practices

Today marked a significant milestone as we kicked off the first workshop in our series dedicated to adopting of STEM best practices from program countries The workshop was organized by RIT Kosovo through its Faculty Development Center and it was led by faculty members who participated in the Advanced Training events. This workshop focused on the theme of STEM inclusiveness and diversity.

Attended by a diverse cohort of faculty members, the event aimed to examine the challenges encountered by Kosovar women in STEM fields, alongside investigating inclusive pedagogy techniques, case studies, and best practices adopted by developed nations.

As we reflect on the insightful discussions and meaningful exchanges that transpired during the first workshop, we are imotivated by the collective determination to drive positive change within our academic community. Moving forward, we remain committed to organizing more workshops and initiatives aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM.

Stay tuned for more workshops and initiatives aimed at driving positive change within our academic community!
